Thinking about getting something different.

These are machine finish, but currently plasti-dipped black.

No damage to wheels, though could use re-cleared if you wanted the original look.

Tires are only 3 months old. Nexen Roadian 265/35/22

Will consider trades.. Looking for wheels, parts, etc.

If I have to put a price.. I'll start at $1500.

I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow.

When I installed my Mopar Strut Brace I had to remove the factory strut covers. Since the factory covers don't fit back on I got a set of Strut Tower Covers from Billet Technologies. Here are some before and after photos.

Sold my Matte Black 300c Wagon/Touring SRT8 recently and it has gone to a very good home, someone who already owns some V8 muscle; but I am missing the car badly.

I've yet to make my mind up regarding a classic Charger or Challenger or the latest 392ci/6.4L Challenger. Trying to work out if it's cheaper to import direct from USA rather than go via the usual American Car dealers here in the UK which I find are slightly over the top with their prices at 46k pounds for the new Challenger that equates roughly to 70k+ USD when you can buy them nearly new in the US for 25-30k USD that's is more like 16-19k GBP and with import taxes etc... another 2k to me that is still half the price nearly. Anyone imported anything recently and gone down the route of doing it yourself?

Error code P0299

Hi,

can someone out there help me, earlier today whilst driving to work the engine management light came on, I took to a local dealer and they said it was showing error code P0299 and that the turbo would need replacing.

being naïve I asked them how much it would costs to replace, the response I got floored me. they wanted £3,400 for the turbo + Vat + fitting.

does this sound right? the car isn't worth much more than that as its a 2006 with 130k on the clock. can anyone else point me in the direction of what really is the issue as I have seen a few people report this code but they never mention a new turbo

Ok, so the little nob that controls the navigation is messed up on my system, and I don't wanna get a new nav or replace it myself or pay somebody to replace it.

Is there anyway you can control the nav selections other than the knob?

I've tried steering wheel controls, no luck..

Ps; The knob does work.. You just have to press down really hard then control it, and sometimes it doesn't even work at all.

Alarm keeps going off.

My turn for problems now. Last night and tonight the car alarm has gone off for no obvious reason. All doors and windows are shut properly and the car doesn't appear to have been interfered with.

Any ideas?

Is it possible to lock the car without arming the alarm?

Edit: Just been reading some of the past "Alarm" threads. I'll have a look at the easter egg and see what the last chime was.
